“It is my job to listen to your dreams and combine them with my skills and expertise to create something that is truly ‘You’, whether that’s a touch of colour or an explosion of the rainbow“
A graduate of Fashion Design at Limerick School of Art & Design in 2007, Carolyn has spent the last 14 years working as a Womenswear Patternmaker. 11 years of that were spent working in Melbourne, Australia for a variety of womenswear brands. She returned to Ireland in January 2020 with the idea of creating bespoke bridalwear for unconventional brides.
“For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to bright colours and everything that glitters. After noticing a lack of colourful bridal options available in Ireland, I was inspired to create a collection incorporating unique colours and textiles, as opposed to the more traditional bridal tones. Before Queen Victoria popularised the white wedding dress way back in 1840, most women wore bright, colourful dresses on their wedding day that could be repurposed for other occasions. I love the idea of creating pieces that could be worn again in a different way and cherished beyond the wedding day. The possibilities are endless, and when styled with beautiful flowers or wedding accessories, I believe almost anything can have the bridal look.”
